The Bookkeeper + Benefits Admin is responsible for the efficient functioning of Dragon360 through a range of bookkeeping, payroll, benefits administration, and financial tasks. They ensure the smooth running of business from a fiscal standpoint on a day-to-day basis.
Part Time or Contractor
responsibilities
bookkeeping
- Record, reconcile and audit accounting data.
- Post transactions involving cash receipts, disbursements and/or accounts payable and receivable.
- Properly code and categorize all transactions.
- Prepare and disburse payments to, and handle relationships and projects with vendors, contractors, and other parties.
- Prepare financial statements, cost reports and bank reconciliations as needed.
- Interpret contracts in order to set up and execute all billing and bookkeeping accurately and swiftly.
- Build relationships and trust with clients; learn about their business processes and work with them on establishing a smooth and effective billing and payment process.
- Check and review all invoices, bills, payments, etc. to ensure accuracy and conformance to established accounting procedures.
- Own, manage and ensure timely follow up on billing, A/R, and all other projects and issues.
- Management and oversight of accounts sent to collections.
- Coordinate with various Dragon360 account leads and teams to ensure invoices are correct and the team is aware about payment delays and other related situations.
- Receive and review expense reports, ensuring that they conform with Dragon360 policies. Provide to management for approval and remit payment once approved, or discuss any issues preventing approval with employees.

- Manage all payroll functions and associated tasks, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees while maintaining compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Maintain employee non-compete, compensation, and other pertinent human resource documents.
- Track compensation change related to anniversaries, terminations or exits, parental leave, etc.
- Review the current benefits package on an annual basis, including choice of vendors and health plans.
- Manage benefit vendors (Justworks, Principal, Verizon, etc.).
- Resource and point of contact for all benefits such as health insurance, Justworks, 401k information, etc.

- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proactive in communicating with clients on A/R issues.
- Proficient in:
- Quickbooks Online
- MS Office
- Google Apps
- Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures.
- Ability to think strategically from a financial planning and analysis perspective to help leadership plan for now and the future.
