Dragon360 is a B2B digital marketing agency seeking a Head of Growth to lead growth initiatives both internally and externally. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of driving business growth and new customer acquisition, expanding existing accounts, and developing customer retention strategies. The Head of Growth works closely with cross-functional teams, including account managers, strategists, and client services and marketing teams, to create and execute growth strategies and deliver outstanding results. In addition they are responsible for developing, articulating, and implementing the long-term marketing strategy for Dragon360.
Responsibilities
Agency Marketing
- Researching, analyzing, and developing Dragon360’s product and market fit, including positioning, for its ideal customer profiles and target markets.
- Planning, developing, and implementing all of Dragon360’s marketing and communications strategies and all aspects of brand expression, including management of owned and earned channels (website, social, PR, etc.).
- Collaborating with agency leadership and team members to create and execute demand generation strategies on behalf of the agency, aimed at acquiring new customers for the company’s growth.
- Partnering with leadership to define target markets, accounts, and contacts that fit the agency’s ICP and strongest opportunities for revenue growth.
- Planning, developing, and leading the agency’s content strategy, partnering with leadership and team members to build agency awareness, engagement, and opportunities.
- Heavily active on social media and in private communities, with a knack for networking and engaging with others in an effective, value-driven way that builds agency awareness, reputation, and long-term revenue generating opportunities.
- Attending conferences, events, and other networking opportunities on behalf of the agency.
- Researching, developing, and implementing the agency’s event and conference strategy including virtual events and conference speaking engagements on behalf of agency leadership and interested team members.
- Developing initiatives to boost employee engagement on social media and communities, as well as on behalf of Dragon360 in tandem with other team members (execs, Office Manager, Head of Operations, etc.)
- Sharing company news, highlights, work, and updates internally and externally by writing press releases, social media posts, internal chat announcements, and more.
- Creating compelling case studies to be used across new business, website, and more.
- Partnering with leadership to define agency marketing targets that are aligned to financial objectives set by agency ownership.
New Business + Retention
- Partnering with agency leadership to develop and lead the creation of sales collateral, including pitch decks and templates, collaborating with visual designers and other stakeholders as needed.
- Driving new business by identifying, crafting, researching, and managing pitches and RFP responses
- Identifying and creating strategic partnerships with other agencies, vendors, or individuals to spur new business and extend agency capabilities
- Liaising with agency search consultants and maintaining profiles in search marketplaces.
- Develop and implement strategies to collect and leverage client feedback and testimonials to drive customer acquisition and retention, and enhance the company’s reputation.
- Collaborate with account managers and strategists to ensure customer satisfaction and develop strategies to retain + grow accounts.
- Continually improve business development processes, including optimizing the customer journey, product offerings, pricing strategies, and more.
- Work with internal teams to identify opportunities to grow accounts through new service offerings or by expanding existing scopes
About You
- 3+ years experience in growth marketing or similar and aligned skills
- Strategic self-starter that wants to build a personal brand in conjunction with an agency brand.
- Strong communicator with excellent writing, interpersonal, and public speaking skills that (most importantly) can influence and inspire
- Keen business sense, ability to interface, network, and negotiate with top executives and stakeholders, understand business goals, models, customers, and how Dragon360’s capabilities can drive revenue
- Developing goals/OKRs and KPIs and tracking core metrics against them
- Ability to stay on top of industry trends and jargon, technology, news, etc.
- Can work quickly, adapt to change, and agile by nature
- Team player with leadership skills who can effectively plan, collaborate, and brainstorm with others
